A fantastic ride today with 11 Descenders, unless I miscounted. Strava has claimed its new victims – Guido, Sheehan and possibly Keith. In fact, I think 9 of 11 riders who rode today are on strava.
Generally easy pace, as planned, with plenty of rotating pacelines and only a few “animated” moments.

Descenders,First official ride of 2011 (since we were all riding in smaller groups on Jan 1st) is posted on the website and listed below. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be an easy “taper” ride in view of Stagecoach next week. Some of us will be leaving from Casa de Voris a bit around 7:40AM.January 7, 2012: Meet at 7-11 at Garden Road and Poway Road at 8:00am for the Mussey Grade, Pamo Road Loop. Easy pace, taper for Stagecoach race next week.
