Sheehan could not make the Descenders-Ranchos Ride, so he organized a Sunday ride on the original team route–Poway Grade over to HVR and back home.  His older brother, Mike, was visiting and went along for the ride.  I drove to his house and we rode over to get Boyle at his house near Poway HS.  The four of us rode up Poway Grade and over to Archie Moore.  We flew down HVR and then waited for Mike near Starvation Mountain.  He had a flat near the top so we rode back up to get him and fix his tire.  We finished our descent down HVR and rode along Pomerado back to Sheehan's.  Good Sunday ride of about 29 miles.   

We saw Dave Ernst returning from his 63 mile ride as we neared Sheehan's house.  Ernst rode down to Mission Bay and back–huge solo ride. Chad rode today on Del Dios for a 59 mile loop and Guido rode the coast for almost 40 miles.  Lots of guys getting in god rides.
