Hi All,

I pootled to the top of the bike path at Black Mountain, no one was there. I pootled over to Spring Meadow, no one wanted to ride. I pootled down to the 7-11 and only Len (TE) was waiting. We both waited until well after the start time and decided to roll out for an easy recovery ride.

Len was working yesterday so he missed the group ride. It was his birthday so we celebrated a day late with a Poway Pootle. The pace was going to be nice and easy all morning.

We cruised up to Espola and looped around to Pomerado. We rode over the freeway and climbed back towards 4S before turning back towards Poway on Camino Del Notre. Nice and easy, conversational riding.

After crossing back over Pomerado we rode down to Community. At the light on Poway Road Len turned east towards his car while I decided to climb up to SPP. I added a few miles by going back home along SPP and climbed back up Black Mountain.

The ride was only 37 miles, a nice recovery ride. Here is the photo from the start.
