Dave Voris has put together another great route for this year’s Monster Climb trip.  Please see attached trip brochure.  The trip is scheduled for June 22-24 and will take us to new and exciting terrain, with rides planned in the San Gabriel Mountains and western side of the Eastern Sierras near Kernville.   Our base will be the quaint town of Kernville, where we will be staying at the charming Kernville Inn along the river.

The trip is planned for 16 riders at a cost of $330 per person.  Cost is slightly higher than previous trips due to a continental breakfast the Club will be providing on Saturday and Sunday mornings, since the Inn does not have a breakfast facility.

Trip cost includes transportation, hotel and a basic continental breakfast provided by the Club, dinner both Friday and Saturday nights, as well other supplies such as first aid, water, home brewed beer and ice for coolers.  If actual trip costs are different than the fee a small true‐up after the trip will be performed.

Active 2012 Club members can sign-up by replying directly to me.  Trip payments will be due by May 15^th.  In the event of rider cancelation, all costs we can recover will be refunded.

Similar to previous trips, we will car pool in personal vehicles.  When reserving a spot, please advise if you are interested in volunteering to drive and how many riders/bikes your car can carry.  Each driver will be reimbursed based on the Gov’t mileage rate.

As we get closer to the trip a detailed trip itinerary will be provided.
